I am extremely honored to have both my posters for Courtney Barnett and The War on Drugs to be included in this year’s Communication Arts Illustration Annual. The annual includes so much incredible work by some the world’s top illustrators, many of whom I greatly admire. The issue is out on newsstands now, so make sure to pick up and copy. The Courtney Barnett print is sold out but a handful of The War on Drugs prints are available in my etsy shop.
I’ve been a huge fan of Courtney Barnett’s The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas since it came out last year, so it was a lot of fun to get to work with her on a new poster for her show at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis last week. It was even better was that I got to meet her after the show and again at her instore performance at the Electric Fetus. And she loved the poster. You can grab a print in my etsy shop, including a signed print from Courtney. The poster is an 18 x 24 three color screen print (dark gray, orange, white) on French Poptone Pink Lemonade (100#C)
A limited edition gig poster for The Antlers/Phantogram show at the Varsity Theater in MPLS. The design is a three-color screen print (light blue/green, medium blue/green and dark gray) on 140#C white archival stock and was printed by Woods and Weather in MPLS. I will update the post in a few days with some detail shots (similar to the shots of The Rural Alberta Advantage poster) so please stay tuned. If you’d like to buy a print, please click the button below. If you haven’t heard The Antlers or Phantogram yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. UPDATE: Detail shots of the poster after the jump.
